By signing up to the Nerd York City newsletter you are signing up to receive emails containing content published on Nerd York City, as well as additional original Nerd York City content exclusive to the newsletter. The newsletter may also include advertisements or offers of third party services, however your personal information will never be given to these third parties.
All about newsletter giveaways.
Nerd York City may occasionally offer giveaways specifically to newsletter subscribers. For privacy reasons, we will not automatically enter subscribers into giveaways. Instead, giveaways promoted in a newsletter will require subscribers to manually opt-in to any they wish to participate in. Such giveaways will only be available to individuals who are subscribed to the newsletter.
Giveaway winners’ names may be posted on nerdyorkcity.com, and their mailing addresses will be provided to our sponsor and/or shipping agent. Winners’ addresses and e-mail addresses will be erased once their prizes have been shipped.
What we won’t share.
Your privacy is important to us. Under no circumstances will we share any personally identifiable information you have shared with us (such as your name, e-mail address, mailing address, or IP address) with any third party, unless your permission is explicitly obtained beforehand or we are ordered to do so by a court or law enforcement organization.
What we may share.
We may, at our discrimination, share tabulated statistical data with our partners. This can include information such the average age and geographic spread of our newsletter subscribers, as well as survey statistics.

Information submitted through New York City’s newsletter form will be directly submitted to New York City for the sole purpose of managing our newsletter.
